She was raised in a small town called Moore Haven, FL with 7 other siblings. When she graduated high school she went on to college to get a degree in Early Childhood Education. However, while in college she got pregnant with her first child, whom later she found out had a disability. Darlene later went on to become a nurse with a passion for helping and caring for others, being a single mother to a child with a disability didn't stop her from pushing and pursuing her dream. Those who have met her and know her will often speak of her strength, inspiration, dedication and loving spirit. Darlene is featured on my website not just because she's my mother, but because of her unconditional support and love for everything I've aspired to do and be.
This little guy is a absolute heart stealer. While he's only in elementary he has such a big heart for helping and supporting others. Lamar says that he wants to be a doctor who teaches others one day, and with his love of math and his love of people I truly believe he will be great at it. Most people that meet him say that his smile warms even the coldest heart, and his friendliness eases people.
She was raised in the heart of Orlando, Florida with her parents and her sister. When Fouzia graduated high school she went on to college to get her Bachelors in Accounting and then her MBA in Management. Shortly after graduating Fouzia ended up in the roofing industry which is predominantly male driven. She's worked her way from secretary to VP of a roofing company not only as a female but as a minority. She works very hard at spreading her knowledge to ensure that her team continues to get educated and grow as well. Those who have met or know Fouzia say that she has a heart of gold, she's a great supporter, and a huge inspiration to many.

When Marylou graduated high school she moved to Orlando and pursued her Bachelors in Economics and Finance, and also her PMP Certification. She continued to push herself in the workforce to become a Project Manager. Those who have met and know Marylou say that she's always supportive, constantly pushes herself and others, and her optimism always shines through her smiles.
He was born in New York City, and partly raised in Orlando with his siblings. Tommy moved back to New York to pursue his passion in becoming a professional artist in dance. He's worked with many different artists in several areas which inspired Tommy to bring back something to his community. He began working at dance studios as a competition teacher and helped inspire those in his class through their passion for dance. Tommy desires to open his own business where he will continue to teach others how to enhance their gift for dance, while challenging them to pay it forward and teach someone else how to enhance their gifts. While she continued to pursue goals, being a single mother and focusing on her career she finally decided to go back to school and get her master's degree. She got her MBA with a concentration in Accounting as well. Priscilla aspires to help others learn about becoming more financially stable, because this is something that really wasn't taught growing up. People who have met or know Priscilla would describe her as straight forward, supportive, inspirational and dedicated to everything she does.

She really enjoys her theater and singing classes and is absolutely passionate about her roles. He then began doing after market automotive accessories, preparing cars for shows and competitions. Those who have met or know Ronald would say that he's always willing to lend a hand, reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
Well this young man I can spend all day talking about. He's the reason behind it all for me. He's my inspiration, he's my motivation and he is my reason for doing half of the things I venture to do. Sam was born with a disease called Tuberous Sclerosis, and with this disease it left Sam requiring 24 hour care. He's unable to communicate like most people can, he understands the basics of what you say but he can't communicate back to you. He doesn't understand basic dangers, like walking in the street or knowing that something is hot and not to touch it. He has the mental capacity of 5-6 year old. One thing people will tell you about him though is that he's loving. If he walks up to you, smells your head, and grabs your arm, that pretty much means he likes you. People who have met or know Sam would say he's an adventure, he's full of excitement, he's a handful, he's happy, and he's joyous. The many stories that people have to tell makes me smile every time.
I was born and raised in Moore Haven, Fl. I graduated from high school and went on to pursue my dream of working in Early Childhood Education, receiving my AA degree and working my way from teacher to director. Later I had my son and decided to go back to school and pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Information Management, a Certificate in Human Resources Administration and a Certificate in Project Management. I'm now currently back in school again to pursue a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My dream is to be able to help others no matter where I am or what I'm doing.
